Newton C. Kindlund

Newton Kindlund has dedicated over 35 years to the RV industry. Along with his wife, Joanne, Kindlund founded the industry’s first national retail dealership chain. In 1987, Holiday RV Superstores, Inc. became the first publicly owned national RV retail chain. In 1999, the couple sold their controlling shares of the company. That same year, they established the first national RV industry college scholarship through RVDA. Voted as 1995’s RV Industry Executive of the Year, Newt is recognized for his outstanding service to RVDA and RVIA throughout the duration of his career.
