A 30-year member and past-president of the South Dakota MHA he has helped to establish the current framework of the SDMHA. He was a member of the SD Governors task force on taxation and titling of manufactured homes. He helped to establish setup and installation standards for homes in SD. He is a past board member of the RV/MH Heritage Foundation. He is a second-generation inductee, his father having been inducted in 1998.
